Arthur "Gene" Eugene Wagner, 50 of St. Clair passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016 at his home.

Mr. Wagner, son of the late Raymond Wagner and wife Susie nee Hawkins was born September 23, 1965 in Washington.

Gene worked as a Tree Trimmer for Asplundh Tree Service in the line clearance division.

Gene was an outdoorsman, spending time hunting, fishing and hanging out with his son Kyle.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Susie Wagner; his brother, Kenneth Downey and brother-in-law, Douglas George.

He is survived by his son, Kyle Wagner of St. Clair; companion, Tammy Lewis of St. Clair; two brothers, Floyd Downey and wife Judy of Anaconda and Bill Downey and wife Donna of St. Clair; four sisters, Carolyn Hemker and special friend Gary of St. Clair, Jody Halmich and husband Gary of St. Clair, Donna Ejchler and husband Stanley of St. Clair and Judy George of St. Clair; his granddaughter, Ayva Bandi; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
