Arlene Ann Landers nee Funke, 63 of Union passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2011 in Union.

Mrs. Landers, daughter of the late Erwin Funke and wife Hilda nee Tessner was born October 11, 1948 in Union.

On June 12, 1967 she was united in marriage to John Landers in Union, Missouri.

She was a loving and devoted family member that never met a stranger.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was a member of the St. Clair Christian Church.

Mrs. Landers was preceded in death by her husband, John Landers; her parents, Erwin and Hilda Funke; father and mother-in-law, Ben and Bertha Landers and sister-in-law, Mary DeClue.

She is survived by her bother and sister-in-law, Lenard and Edna Nugent of St. Clair; nieces; nephews; the staff at Sunset Nursing Home; other relatives and many friends.
