Obituary

Antonia "Chicken" Charron, 96 of St. Clair passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012 at her home.

Mrs. Charron, daughter of the late Michael DeMartino and wife Angela nee Magrone was born May 12, 1916 in Three Rivers, Massachusetts.

On November 28, 1935 she was united in marriage to Camille W. Charron in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.

She was a member of The Daughters of Isabella in Massachusetts and St. Clair. Proud Girl Scout Leader and member of the booster club of the St. Joseph Cadets, Drum and Bugle Corps. In 1981 she retired from Simonds Saw and Steel Company in Massachusetts.

Mrs. Charron was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Angela DeMartino; her husband, Camille W. Charron; her son, Paul C. Charron; two brothers, Joseph DeMartino and Philip DeMartino and great-grandson, Christopher K. Cormier.

She is survived by her daughter, Joanne Meiners and husband Leonard of St. Clair; one brother, Michael DeMartino of Lunenburg, MA; five grandchildren, Debra Meiners and husband Stephen of St. Clair; Cheryl Martin and husband Mitchell of St. Charles, Kenneth Cormier and wife Sherry of Troy, MO, Kelly Neal and husband Jason of North Carolina and Michael Charron of Arizona; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; lovingly included in her life for 27 years has been extended family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and many friends
