Anne Marie Laubinger, 12, of Leslie passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018 in St. Louis.
Anne Marie, daughter of Jess Laubinger Jr. and Kristin nee Green was born October 14, 2005 in Washington.
She attended Beaufort Elementary and was looking forward to joining the 7th Grade Class at Union Middle School.
As an active church goer, she attended church on a regular basis at Casco United Methodist in Leslie, Evergreen Baptist Church in Leslie and the Ridge Church in Villa Ridge.
Anne Marie played the flute and was recently learning the guitar. She often added a little bit of singing into the mix. She like to occupy time by drawing and making crafts. She liked fishing, riding her bike and just loved living life.
Anne Marie enjoyed swimming and kayaking. Once she paddled all the way to the other side of the river on her own, this was a big feat for her.
She loved her dogs, Pablo and Bugsy along with her cat, Garfield.
Anne Marie looked forward to family get togethers and the big meals that came along with it. She enjoyed the art of cooking and baking any chance she could.
Most of all Anne Marie will be remembered as an excellent caregiver to her father and no matter what, she was always thinking of the wellbeing of others first.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jess Laubinger Sr.
Anne Marie is survived by her father, Jess "Sonny" Laubinger Jr. of Leslie; her mother, Kristin Hale of Rosebud; three siblings, Jordan Bassham, Jamie Bassham and Brayden Green; her grandmother, Helen Anne Laubinger of Leslie; aunts and uncles, Pamela Gray and husband Randy of Owensville, Patty Jones and husband Kent of Union, Debbie Bliss and husband Terry of Union, Ed Laubinger and wife Brenda of St. Clair, Joe Laubinger of Beaufort, Chad Laubinger and wife Lynn of Gerald, Lockey Travis and husband Harold of Eldon, Thad Laubinger of Leslie, Sibyl Green and husband Curt of Gerald and Jessica Freiberger and husband Bryan of Rosebud; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial donations to the Franklin County Humane Society or Friends of Kids with Cancer are preferred.
