Ann Lucille (Bigley) Wideman of Sullivan, MO was born December 27, 1944 in San Juan, Puerto Rico; the daughter of Melvin Bigley and his wife, Josefina (Gomez). Ann passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at the age of 79 years.
Ann received her associate degree from East Central College in Union and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. She was employed as a photo lab manager at Wal-Mart. She was united in marriage to Leroy Wideman on February 16, 1963 and the couple recently celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary. Ann was a member of New Chapel Hill Church in Sullivan. She was also a member of the Old Bus Stop Art Club, the Red Hat Society, and the Missouri Fine Arts Society.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Josefina Bigley; and twin sons: Terry and Jerry Wideman.
She is survived by her husband, Leroy Wideman of Sullivan; two sons: Lee Wideman and wife Diana of St. Clair, and Erick Wideman and wife Renae of Sullivan; four grandchildren: Timothy Wideman, Chad Wideman, Brianna Ackert, and Samantha Wideman; two great-granddaughters: Paisley Wideman and Renley Piles; one sister, Janie Moore and husband Layne Stevens; and many other relatives and friends.
