Ann Janice (Wilson) Dain, born on July 27, 1935, in Portageville, Missouri, to John and Alice Smith, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at the age of 90.

Ann is survived by her sister, Vicki Burton of Pevely, MO; her daughter, Suzi Floyd of Porter, TX; her sons, Brad Wilson and wife Joan of Union, MO, and Gregg Wilson of Huffman, TX; her stepson, Gary Wilson and wife Linda of Mehlville, MO; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nephews; and many other beloved relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Maude Alice Smith; her sisters, Annette Smith and Shirley Julian; and her niece, Janice Davidson.

Ann lived a vibrant life between Missouri and Texas, bringing warmth and energy wherever she went. Known for her exceptional cooking and fiery spirit, she was truly a "firecracker" in the best sense—full of life, love, and laughter.

After moving to Texas, Ann became a devoted member of the United Pentecostal Church of Porter, where she faithfully attended for 36 years. She poured her heart into church activities—supporting dinners, making peanut brittle, and organizing fundraisers to benefit Porter Christian Academy. Her dedication to both her work and her faith was unwavering.

Ann had a passion for collecting angels and teapots, symbols of her nurturing soul and her appreciation for beauty in everyday life. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the memories she created.

She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
