Amanda Elaine Labbee, 38, of Sullivan passed away Tuesday, July 17 ^th , 2018 after a relatively short, yet courageous battle, with breast cancer. Family, friends, and community members rallied around her as she fought this past year.

Amanda was born August 22 ^nd , 1979 in St. Charles to the union of Clifton and Darlene Labbee.

She married Eric on June 24 ^th , 2011 in Union. They were committed to each other for 20 years prior to their marriage. Together they had four children and her family was her world.

Amanda was a proud mom, always the advocate for her children. She enjoyed attending the kids' sporting events. Telling stories about them would bring a smile to her face and to the faces of those who heard the stories. In fact, Amanda was the ultimate story teller and probably could have been a writer. She had a quick wit and delightful sense of humor and entertained family, friends, co-workers, and customers with her stories.

Amanda could find the bright side to most any situation. She was always able to see the best in people and could get along with anyone. Amanda most recently worked at Town and Country Bank in Bourbon, where she was often the first smiling face to greet customers as they entered.

Amanda is survived by her husband, Eric Labbee; four children, Brendan, Devon, Amara, and Aaron; her parents, Clifton Labbee and wife Rose, Darlene Becker and husband Rick; one sister, Katrina and husband Chris Decker; one brother, Clifton "CJ" Labbee Jr. and wife Rachel; nieces; nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
