Allen "Doug" Douglas Rowley, 65, of Washington passed away Friday January 8, 2021 in Creve Coeur.
On March 24, 1955 Doug was born to the union of Lawrence Rowley and Frances (Taylor) in St. Louis.
Doug graduated from Southwest Highschool in 1973.
He served his country in the United States Army.
Doug was united in marriage to Marcia (Haberberger) on April 24, 1987 in Washington.
He worked for the State of Missouri in the Department of Corrections.
Doug enjoyed fishing, playing cards with family and friends and watching movies and television. His favorite film was "It's A Wonderful Life", along with John Wayne films and Godzilla. Most of all Doug loved his family very much. Doug had a huge heart and personality, he was known for his sense of humor and would give the shirt off his own back to help others.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Frances Rowley; one brother, Lawrence Rowley II.
Doug is survived by his wife of 33 years, Marcia Rowley of Washington; one daughter, Melinda DeClue of St. Louis; two grandchildren, Gavin and Aiden DeClue of St. Louis; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial donations are appreciated to the American Diabetes Association or the Franklin County Humane Society .
