Agnes Straatmann nee Bigley, 75 of Leslie passed away Saturday, August 6, 2011 in Washington.

Mrs. Straatmann, daughter of the late James Bigley and wife Orelette nee Vogler was born July 5, 1936 in St. Clair.

On October 11, 1985 she was united in marriage to James Straatmann in Leslie, MO.

She worked at St. John's Mercy in Washington until her retirement after 35 years.

Mrs. Straatmann was preceded in death by her parents, James and Orelette Bigley; one brother, Jack Bigley.

She is survived by her husband, James Straatmann of Leslie; three sons, Rick Schwentker and wife Shelly of Eureka, Rodney Schwentker and wife Tina of Marthasville and Randy Schwentker of Wildwood; two sisters, Sylvia Stalcup of Leasburg and Delores Cook and husband Jim of St. Clair; two step-sons, Jim Straatmann and wife Charlynn of Concord, North Carolina and Jeff Straatmann and wife Mary of Leslie; two step-daughters, Kelly Worstell and husband Bill of Union and Sheri Hess and husband Edward of Leslie; 17 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
