Biography

Robert “Bud” Hawkins, 76 of Bourbon passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2010 in St. Louis.

Mr. Hawkins, son of the late Harry Hawkins and wife Jenni nee Bishop was born May 29, 1933 in St. Clair.

He enjoyed reading and carpentry work as his pass time.

He is survived by one brother, Jesse “Babe” Hawkins of St. Clair; one sister, Mayme Downey of St. Clair; step-son, Michael Birmingham of Kansas City, Missouri; two grandchildren, Samantha and Shakara Birmingham; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held 10:00 to 12:00 Noon on Friday, March 5, 2010 at Midlawn Funeral Home, Union. Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon on Friday, March 5, 2010 at Midlawn Funeral Home, Union with Reverend Tom Ison officiating. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis.
